The Inn, (Circa 1879) exemplifies an
era renowned for gentility and grace. This stately structure, once a
rectory, is an authentic "Painted Lady" - its multicolored
exterior proudly proclaims late 19th century stylistic
proclivity.
Throughout,
the innkeeper has faithfully maintained the Victorian manor house's
ambiance. Splendid period detail, such as the original Eastlake
newel post, Sandwich glass double door and other architectural
nuances, have been restored.
In the Inn,
Eight glorious guest chambers, each with private bath and ceiling
fan, include thoughtful touches such as working fireplaces,
balconies, skylights and vintage bathtubs. The gracious soaring
tower overlooks the Village and landscaped grounds.
