The New England States

The States:

The Northeast United States is an amazing corner of the world. Here, Yankee austerity and bold innovation peacefully co-exist, mountains and shorelines are as representative of the region as is the bustle of Boston's Back Bay. This was the birthplace of the nation, the landing place for intrepid souls nearly four centuries ago, the nucleus of intellectualism, avant garde art and cutting edge technologies.

From the loneliest corner of Sunrise County, Maine, to the activities of Harvard Square, Cambridge, Mass. Vermont's bucolic bounty is manifested in everything from cheese to ski slopes, New Hampshire's independent spirit has attracted poets and anarchist, Massachusetts spawned political and artistic revolutions.

Tiny Rhode Island manages to encompass 400 miles of shoreline and Providence, the urban success story of the millennium. Connecticut shares affiliation with New England and New York, home to entrepreneurs and artists alike.
