The historic
Dan'l Webster Inn offers the essence of colonial charm and elegance
combined with endless amenities and gracious service. Its 54
beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites, many with canopy and
four poster beds, working fireplaces & whirlpool tubs, captivate
guests who are looking for the ultimate in colonial ambiance and
comfort. The Gathering Room provides a perfect setting for
relaxing and enjoying a conversation with new found friends.
The Inn on
this site has offered lodging in one form or another for more than
300 years. It was originally used as a parsonage for the Reverend
Roland Cotton and his wife, Elizabeth Saltonstall. Later it became
home to the Reverend Fessenden who passed away at a young age
leaving behind his wife and seven children. The home was then given
to his family and a new home was purchased for Reverend Fessenden's
successor.
In the
Dining Room, traditional favorites share the menu with contemporary
cuisine. Four lovely rooms offer a choice of settings; candle-lit
rooms, fireside dining or garden side dining in the sun or moonlit
Conservatory combine with outstanding service and innovative cuisine
to produce a positively exceptional dining experience.
