The Three Chimneys Inn



A newly restored 1649 Mansion and Carriage house, the Three Chimneys Inn is situated on a hill overlooking her formal gardens, the Oyster River, and the Old Mill Falls.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Three Chimneys Inn is the oldest house in Durham and one of the oldest buildings in New Hampshire. Part of the original settlement at Oyster River Falls, this property is a "living record" of over three centuries of cultural and commercial development. 

Each room boasts it's own personality with fine Georgian mahogany furnishings, King and Queen four poster beds dressed in Edwardian drapes, rich tapestries, antique artwork, polished wood floors warmed by oriental rugs and overstuffed lounge chairs and sofas. Added comforts include full private baths with either two person shower, oversize tub or Jacuzzis.
