From the
antiques that accent the decor to the fine art that graces the
walls, the innkeepers desire has been to provide a comfortable,
relaxing place for guests to enjoy friendly conversation or quiet
moments. You can settle into a cozy nook in the library for fireside
reading or join other guests for a game of bridge in the living
room. You are also invited to share in afternoon tea and tasty
Vermont treats - the perfect time to blend food and conversation,
both rich in flavor and variety.
For a little extra pampering, we also offer more sophisticated
amenities for enjoyment and convenience, such as indoor pool,
fitness center, and two fine restaurants without sacrificing the
good, old-fashioned country hospitality that has become the hallmark
of Cortina Inn.
Each room
has been individually decorated to capture the charm of
country living in Vermont, with the emphasis on personal comfort. In
some of their deluxe rooms, you can warm yourself by a fireplace or
enjoy the scenic beauty surrounding the inn from your balcony or
terrace.
Superb
chefs with impeccable credentials, elegant yet cozy ambiance,
attentive service, inventive menu creations, fine wines and
sumptuous desserts - all this await diners at Zola's Grille. This
fine restaurant offers outrageously delicious cuisine blending the
Northern Italian, French bistro and Mediterranean styles. Head Chef
Randall Cysyk, formerly of the Four Seasons in Washington DC, and
Sous Chef John Foster, formerly of Hemingway's (Killington) create
innovative dinners with enticing presentations. Cysyk and Foster are
backed by a compliment of 6 cooks including a full-time on-site
baker.
